You know what? I heard some folks talking ’bout that place, 6262 Virgo Road. Sounds fancy, don’t it? I reckon it’s one of them big houses, the kind you see on the TV. I ain’t never been inside one of them, but I heard things.
They say this 6262 Virgo Road place, it’s in Oakland. Now, Oakland, that’s a big city, ain’t it? Lots of people, lots of cars, lots of everything. Not like here, where we got more cows than people, almost. This house, though, they say it’s somethin’ else. Built way back, 1994, I think that’s what I heard. That’s before some of you young’uns were even born!
And get this – it’s got three bedrooms! Three! Can you imagine? What’s a body gonna do with three bedrooms? Back in my day, we was lucky to have one for the whole family. We’d be piled in there like sardines in a can. But three? And three bathrooms, too. Three whole bathrooms at 6262 Virgo Road. One for each bedroom, I guess.

Now, they say this 6262 Virgo Road house is big, real big. Almost 2,700 square feet. I don’t even know what a square foot is, but it sounds like a lot. More space than my whole garden, I bet. You could fit a whole herd of goats in there, maybe even a cow or two. It is big enough for a big family.
Someone told me they saw pictures of it. Said it was a sight to behold. I don’t know about all that fancy stuff. But it must be somethin’ for folks to be talkin’ about it so much. I seen some fancy houses on them TV shows, where they fix ’em up real nice. They call it “Instant Dream Home” or somethin’. This 6262 Virgo Road might be one of them dream houses, who knows.
They do things fast on that show, quicker than I can shuck corn. But I heard some folks sayin’ it ain’t all real. They say they make it look fast on TV, but it takes longer in real life. I don’t know nothin’ about that. All I know is, they make them houses look mighty fine. And this 6262 Virgo Road, maybe it’s like one of them. If it is so big and fine, it is a dream home.
I heard someone say this 6262 Virgo Road sold for a lot of money. More money than I’ve seen in my whole life. Over a million dollars! Can you believe that? A million! I wouldn’t know what to do with that kind of money. Probably buy a whole lot of chickens, though. And maybe a new rocking chair for the porch. You know, you just don’t need that much money, I think. But some folks, they like them big houses, and they got the money to buy ’em. Good for them, I reckon.
This fella named Brian, and his wife Mika, they live near Tampa, with their girl Jade. That’s what I heard, anyway. They’re on that TV show, I think. They’re the ones fixin’ up them houses. Maybe they’re the ones who fixed up 6262 Virgo Road. They got a nice place, near a place called Riverview. Sounds like a pretty place. They maybe know how to make 6262 Virgo Road beautiful.
Anyways, this 6262 Virgo Road place, it’s somethin’ to talk about, ain’t it? Three bedrooms, three bathrooms, big as a barn, and worth more than a king’s ransom. It’s a far cry from the little shack I grew up in, that’s for sure. But different strokes for different folks, as they say. Some folks like them big, fancy houses. Me? I’m happy with my little place, my chickens, and my garden. But hey, if you got the money, and you want a big house like that 6262 Virgo Road, more power to ya.
But, 6262 Virgo Road, it is a good house, I think, although I never see it. If you have a big family and you want to live in Oakland, you can go there. It is big and it has everything. If you have money, of course.
