This TV show, it’s called Aquarius, you know? It’s got a whole bunch of actors in it. Lots of folks acting out a story, like them picture shows.

This one fella, David Duchovny, he’s the main guy. He plays a police officer, name of Sam. He’s always chasing after bad guys, that Sam. He’s in most of the show, I reckon. He’s a big shot in this Aquarius show.
- David Duchovny, he’s the big cheese, the head honcho, plays that Sam fella.
Then there’s this other young fella, Grey Damon. He’s a cop too, working with Sam. Young whippersnapper, that one. He’s in a lot of the show too, helping Sam catch the bad uns.

And there is a bad guy, real nasty piece of work, name of Charles Manson. This other actor, name of Gethin Anthony, he plays him. He does a good job being bad, that Gethin.

There’s a gal in it too, Emma Dumont. Her name in the show is Emma Karn. She gets mixed up with that Manson. She’s in a whole heap of trouble, that girl.

Lots of other folks in the show too, playing all sorts of parts. Too many to name, really. But they all do a good job, pretending and all.

Now, this show, it’s about some bad things that happened a long time ago. That Manson fella, he was a real bad one, got a bunch of folks to do terrible things. This show, it’s all about catching him and his gang.
They wanted to make more of this show, six whole seasons, they said. But I guess not enough folks watched it. So they stopped making it after two. Shame, really. It was a pretty good show, even if it was a bit scary sometimes. They said the people don’t want to watch it anymore, so they don’t do it.
This Aquarius, it’s like them detective shows, you know? But it’s all twisted up with that Manson stuff. Some folks, they don’t like that. They say it’s too much, all that bad stuff. But the actors, they did real good. It’s pretty good show if you are not scared.

This Sam fella, the main cop, he’s a good cop. But he’s got his own troubles. All them cops do, I reckon. It’s a hard life, being a cop, chasing after bad guys all the time. That David, he plays a good cop.
That young cop, the Grey Damon one, he’s got a lot to learn. But he’s a good kid, trying his best. He helps Sam a lot, even though he makes mistakes sometimes. He is a good boy, just like my grandson.
That Manson, though, he’s just pure evil. Gethin Anthony, he makes you believe he’s really that bad. Gives me the shivers, just thinking about it. He acts so good, but so bad at the same time.
And that Emma Dumont girl, she’s just lost, you know? Got caught up with the wrong crowd. Makes you feel sorry for her, even though she does some bad things too. I just want to help her, poor thing.
Aquarius Show Actors and Story
This show, Aquarius, it’s not all made up. Some of it really happened, they say. That Manson, he was a real person. And he did some awful things. Scary to think about, really.
But most of the show, it’s just a story. The cops and all, they’re just actors, pretending. They do a good job, though. Make you believe it’s all real. They work so hard to make us believe.
They got all them old cars and clothes and things, make it look like it was back then. It’s like stepping back in time, watching this show. They even got the music right, all them old songs. It’s all like back then, the old days.
So, if you like them cop shows, and you ain’t afraid of a little bit of scary stuff, you might like this Aquarius. It’s got good acting, and a good story, even if it is a bit sad sometimes. The actors are so great, maybe you will like it. But it’s a little scary, you know.
