Okay, so, the other day, I got this idea to check out this new show on Apple TV+ called “Constellation.” I’d heard some buzz about it, mainly that it was some kind of sci-fi thriller thing, and honestly, the trailer looked pretty intense. So, I figured, why not?
I started with the first three episodes, since that’s what they dropped first. Let me tell you, it’s a wild ride. We’ve got Noomi Rapace playing this astronaut, Jo, who’s up in space when something goes seriously wrong. The show follows her journey back to Earth and all the weird stuff that starts happening after that. Honestly, it’s got this eerie vibe that really gets under your skin.
I’ve watched all the released episodes now. It’s a bit of a mind-bender, trying to figure out what’s real and what’s not. There’s this whole mystery about what happened up in space and how it’s affecting Jo and the people around her. And there are all these little details that make you wonder, like, why is this happening? What does it all mean?
My favorite part so far has got to be these interactions between Jo and this other character, Irena, played by Barbara Sukowa. There’s something going on there, some kind of shared experience or connection, but it’s super unclear what it is exactly. It’s like, you know they’re hinting at something big, but they’re not giving it away yet. It’s driving me nuts in the best way possible, you know?
- The acting is top-notch. Noomi Rapace is amazing, and so is the rest of the cast.
- The atmosphere is super creepy and suspenseful. They really nailed the psychological thriller aspect.
- The story is full of twists and turns that keep you guessing. You think you know what’s going on, and then boom, they hit you with something completely unexpected.
Here’s what I like:
- It can be a bit confusing at times. Sometimes it feels like they’re throwing a lot of information at you without fully explaining it. I found myself having to rewatch a few scenes to really catch everything.
- There’s a lot of mystery, which is great, but it also means there are a lot of unanswered questions. I’m hoping they start to tie things up soon, because right now, it’s a bit of a head-scratcher.
Here’s what I’m not so sure about:
Overall, I’m really digging “Constellation.” It’s the kind of show that keeps you on the edge of your seat and makes you think. Plus, it’s got that cool sci-fi element that I’m a sucker for. I heard the showrunner, Peter Harness, say something about a possible season 2. Honestly, I’m already on board. I just hope they can keep up the momentum and give us some satisfying answers to all these mysteries they’ve set up.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my thoughts on this show I’ve been binging. If you’re into sci-fi thrillers, you might want to give it a shot. Just be prepared for a wild ride and maybe have a notebook handy to keep track of all the clues. You’ve been warned!
