Today, I wanted to play around with creating some artwork, and I decided to focus on “Aries,” since, well, it’s Aries season! I’ve been seeing a lot of cool AI-generated art lately, so I figured I’d give it a shot myself.
First, I needed to find a tool to use. I did some quick searching and found a few different options. I picked one that seemed pretty user-friendly for a beginner like me, It’s called “Astria” and get a free plan with limited usage.
Getting Started
I signed up for an account, which was super easy, then start to create the project.
- Create New Finetune :I named it “aries-artwork”.
- Set Instance Prompt : I chose the default value “a photo of sks person”.
- Set Category : I selected “person”.
- Upload Images : I uploaded 20 images, all with related aries sign content.
- Then I hit that “Create Finetune” button.
Then the waiting game began. The model training takes the longest time, I even consider to buy a plan to speed it * took a good half hour, maybe even longer, for it to finish training. I grabbed a coffee and caught up on some emails while I waited.

Generating Images
Once the training was done, it was time for the fun part – generating the images!
- Select Finetune : I select the “aries-artwork” which I created before.
- Set Prompt : I start to type my command “a photo of sks person as a fiery Aries warrior, with ram horns and blazing eyes, digital art”.
- Set Negative Prompt :I also try to enter some negative prompts, like “blurry, cartoonish, no humans”.
- And, I just press “Create Images“button.
And bam! It spit out four different images based on my prompt. Honestly, some of them were a little…weird. But a couple of them were actually really cool! It’s amazing how it took my description and turned it into something visual.
I played around with different prompts, changing a few words here and there to see how it would affect the output. It was like a fun little experiment, trying to “talk” to the AI and get it to create what I was imagining in my head.
My Final Thoughts
Overall, this was a pretty fun and easy way to dip my toes into the world of AI art. I definitely didn’t create any masterpieces today, but I learned a lot, and I’m excited to keep experimenting. It’s pretty addictive, seeing what kind of crazy and cool things you can come up with!
