Okay, so I wanted to get a jump on next week’s horoscope for Aries, and I figured, why not just do it myself? I mean, I’ve dabbled in astrology before, so it’s not totally foreign territory. Plus, I can tailor it exactly to what I think is relevant, you know?
First things first, I grabbed my notebook and pen. Yeah, I’m old school like that. I like the feel of actually writing things down. Helps me think, I guess.
Getting Started
- I opened a new page.
- I try to free-write, without over thinking, and write down my toughts and records.
Then, I started researching the planetary positions for next week. Now, I’m not using any fancy software or anything. I just went to some basic astrology websites and looked up the ephemeris – that’s the fancy word for a table showing where the planets are at any given time.
I jotted down the major aspects – you know, like if Mars is squaring Pluto or whatever. I don’t get super technical with it, but I look for the biggies, the ones that are likely to have a noticeable impact.

After that, it was all about interpreting those aspects in the context of Aries. So, like, if Mars (Aries’ ruling planet) is making a positive aspect to Jupiter, that could mean good luck and opportunities, especially in areas related to Aries’ natural traits – being bold, taking action, that sort of thing.
I write a rough first draft and add or remove some words that are not very appropriate to complete.
Refining My Thoughts
I read through what I’d written, making tweaks and adding details. For example, if I wrote something vague like “expect challenges,” I’d try to be more specific. What kind of challenges? What areas of life are most likely to be affected?
The whole process probably took me a couple of hours, maybe a bit more. I went back and forth a few times, re-reading, re-thinking, and re-writing until I felt like it was pretty solid, and pretty accurate for what I sense is coming up for Aries next week.
So yeah, that’s how I tackled the Aries horoscope for next week. It was a fun little project, and it definitely got me thinking more deeply about the energies at play.
