Okay, here’s my blog post about getting a Scorpius constellation PNG image:
So, I needed a picture of the Scorpius constellation. You know, the scorpion one. And I wanted it as a PNG, so it would have a transparent background. Makes it easier to plop onto other stuff, right?
My Little Adventure Begins
First, I just did a simple Google image search. Typed in “Scorpius constellation PNG”. Figured that would be the fastest way. Lots of images popped up, of course.
I clicked through a bunch of them. Some were okay, some were kinda low-res, and some just looked…wrong. Like, the stars weren’t in the right places, or the lines connecting them were all wonky.

I spent, I don’t know, maybe 20 minutes just scrolling and clicking, getting more and more frustrated. It’s one of those things, it should be easy, but it wasn’t.
Getting a Bit Smarter
Then I thought, “Okay, let’s try something different.” I remembered there are those websites specifically for astronomy stuff.
I did not remember the name of the site.
I typed some more keywords into Google. Things like “astronomy images” and “constellation maps”.

Finally, Success!
After some more clicking and scrolling, Bingo! Found it.
I downloaded the image. It was perfect. High-res, accurate, and, most importantly, a PNG with a transparent background.
It took a bit longer than I expected, honestly. But hey, I got what I needed, and I learned a little something along the way. Sometimes, the simplest-sounding tasks can turn into a mini-quest.
