Okay, so, a while back, I decided to dive into this whole astrology thing. Not in a super serious way, mind you, but more like, “Hmm, let’s see if there’s anything to this.” I started with compatibility, because, well, relationships are complicated, right?
I focused on a Leo woman and an Aries man, purely because I knew a couple like that, and I was curious. I wanted to see if I could figure out their dynamic from an astrological perspective.
My Little Experiment
First, I gathered some basic info. I didn’t go crazy with birth charts or anything, just the sun signs. Leo, fire sign, ruled by the sun. Aries, also a fire sign, ruled by Mars. Okay, two fire signs. This could be explosive, I thought.
I then started reading. Tons of websites, a couple of books I found at a used bookstore. It was all pretty general, but I started to see some patterns.

The Leo woman? Yeah, she definitely liked being in charge, enjoyed being appreciated. The Aries man? Super energetic, always starting new projects, sometimes without finishing the old ones, check on that!
I noticed they clashed sometimes. She wanted things done her way; he wanted to do his own thing. Classic, I thought. It was like watching a little fireworks show.
Then I did another thing: I directly observes. Not in a creepy way, but just hanging out with them, paid more attention to how they interacted. I noticed things like, how often they agreed, how they handled disagreements, who took the lead in different situations.
After a few weeks of this, I felt like I had a decent, if very basic, grasp of their dynamic. My conclusion? The astrology stuff wasn’t totally off. It described some aspects of their personalities pretty well. But it definitely wasn’t the whole story. There’s so much more to people than their sun signs!
It was a fun little project, but it showed me that astrology is, at best, a very general guide. Real life is way more nuanced and you have to see them for yourself.
