Okay, so I’ve been digging into astrology lately, specifically looking at how different placements affect things. Today, I got curious about what it means to have Libra in the 10th house, so I decided to check out my own chart and see what’s up.
First, I pulled up my birth chart online. I already knew my birth time and place, so it was pretty easy. I just plugged in the info, and boom – there was my chart, all colorful and, honestly, a little confusing at first.
Then, I located the 10th house. It’s usually at the very top of the chart, like the 12 on a clock. And yep, there it was. I checked the sign ruling that house, and sure enough, it was Libra.
- So, Libra in the 10th, what does that even mean? I started googling.
- I read descriptions, and took notes on how each point relates to my life.
From what I gathered, the 10th house is all about your career, public image, and reputation – basically, how the world sees you and what you’re known for. Libra, on the other hand, is all about balance, harmony, relationships, and aesthetics.

I started thinking about how this might play out in my own life. I’ve always been pretty focused on my career, and I definitely care about how I’m perceived professionally. I’m a big believer in fairness and try to create a positive work environment. I do my best to consider others, I am a good coworker, and I am fair. I dislike office drama. So, that Libra influence seems to make sense.
My Realizations
I realized it’s not just about being “nice” at work, though. It’s also about this drive to create something beautiful and meaningful through my career. I want my public image to reflect those values of balance and harmony.
I’ve experimented with different career paths, and the ones that felt most fulfilling were those where I could build relationships and create something aesthetically pleasing, in a literal or metaphorical sense. This Libra in the 10th house thing seems spot on.
It’s not a perfect science or anything, but it was a fun and insightful exercise to reflect on my birth chart in this way, to try to understand what it means, and relate it to my life, and to how I show up professionally.
