Okay, so I’ve been seeing a lot of stuff about birthstones lately, and it got me thinking. I’m a Virgo, and honestly, I wasn’t even 100% sure what my birthstone was, let alone the color. So, I decided to finally figure it out. Better late than never, right?
Digging Around
First, I just did a basic search. you know, just typed in “Virgo birthstone” to see what popped up. Lots of different sites, of course, but a few names kept appearing: Sapphire, of course, Peridot, Zircon, Sardonyx, Agate, all sorts of stuff, some of it totally new to me.
Focus on the classic color
Sapphire was the most common stone, and many site mentioned the color blue.I wanted to get a clearer picture, so I started looking at images. I typed in “Virgo birthstone color” to see some visuals.
- Image Search: The image results were overwhelmingly… blue! Lots of deep, rich blue gemstones. It was pretty clear that this was the most associated color, and that make sense with Sapphire.
- Reading Some More: It looks like while sapphires can come in other colors, the classic, go-to color for Virgo is definitely blue. Some sites talked about how the blue represents wisdom and loyalty, which I guess fits the Virgo personality (or at least, how we like to see ourselves!).
Result
So, after all that digging, the classic birthstone color for Virgo is Blue. And I have to say, after seeing all those beautiful blue sapphire *,I think it is time for shopping.
