Listen up, ya hear? I’m gonna tell ya about these here plates, the west elm constellation ones. Don’t know much about fancy words, but these ain’t yer grandma’s everyday plates, no sirree. They got this look, like stars at night, all blue and swirly. Makes ya think of lookin’ up at the sky way out in the country, with no city lights to mess it up.
Now, these plates, they ain’t just for lookin’ at. You can eat off ’em too! They say they’re made of some kinda stone stuff, real strong-like. Not like those flimsy paper plates you toss after one use. These are for keepin’, ya see? You can put yer salad on ’em, or yer supper, whatever you fancy. They’re a good size, not too big, not too small, just right for a heapin’ helpin’ of whatever yer cookin’.
Folks are sellin’ these plates all over the place, even on that internet thing. You know, the one where you clickety-click and things show up at yer door? Yeah, that one. Some folks are sellin’ a whole bunch of ’em together, like four or somethin’. Others are sellin’ just a few. Saw one place sellin’ three, said they were nine inches big. Guess that’s a good size for a plate, wouldn’t want it too tiny now, would ya?
- They look like the night sky. That’s what they tell me, anyway. All blue and swirly.
- Made of strong stuff. Stoneware, they call it. Sounds tough.
- Good for eatin’. Any kinda food, really. Salad, supper, you name it.
- Different sets you can buy. Some with more, some with less. Depends on what ya need.
Now, they’re sayin’ these plates are somethin’ special, like a collector’s thing. Guess that means they’re fancy, huh? One fella said they were made by some folks called West Elm Designers, whoever they are. And they used this fancy blue color, called indigo or somethin’. Sounds like somethin’ you’d dye yer clothes with, but they put it on plates, I reckon.
Some of these plates, they got pictures of those star signs on ’em. You know, like the ones they write about in the newspaper, tellin’ ya yer future and all that? They call ’em zodiac signs, I think. So you can get a plate with yer own sign on it, if you’re into that sorta thing. Pretty neat, huh?
Heard they ship these plates from some place called Hauppauge, in New York. Don’t know where that is, but it’s far from here, I bet. Guess they gotta put ’em in a box and send ’em on a truck or somethin’. Hope they don’t break on the way!
If you’re lookin’ for a deal, you can find these plates online, like on that eBay thing. Some folks sellin’ ’em cheaper than others. And some even give ya free shippin’, which is nice, saves ya a few pennies. Gotta watch yer money these days, ya know? Things ain’t cheap.
So, there ya have it. The west elm constellation plates. Fancy lookin’, tough enough for eatin’, and you can even get yer star sign on ’em. If you’re lookin’ for somethin’ special, somethin’ different than yer regular ol’ plates, these might just be the ticket. Just gotta find a good deal and make sure they don’t break on the way to yer house!
