Well, howdy there, y’all! Let’s talk about this here… uh… new moon in Scorpio thing. Don’t rightly know what all them fancy words mean, but I heard some folks jabberin’ ’bout it, so I figured I’d share what I reckon it’s all about.
Now, this “Scorpio,” sounds like some kinda critter, maybe like a scorpion? Them things are nasty, always hidin’ under rocks and such. Guess this new moon in Scorpio is kinda like that – hidden and maybe a little bit dangerous. People say it’s a time for… what they call it… “transformation.” Sounds like a big word, don’t it? To me, it just means changin’ things up.
I hear tell this new moon happens every so often. Like, the moon, she goes ’round and ’round, and sometimes she hides her face, and that’s when things get stirred up. They’re sayin’ one happened not too long ago, back in August, and another one’s comin’ in November. Land sakes, seems like the moon’s always up to somethin’!
- August new moon: Heard it was real powerful, made folks look deep inside themselves. Like lookin’ in a dusty old mirror, I guess. Seein’ all the cobwebs and such.
- November new moon: Folks are sayin’ this one’s gonna be even stronger. Time for thinkin’ and changin’, they say. More lookin’ in that dusty mirror, I reckon.
Now, I ain’t no astrologer, or whatever they call them star-gazers. But I do know a thing or two about life. And life’s all about changin’. Just like the seasons, you know? One minute it’s hot as blazes, the next you’re bundled up in three layers of clothes, fightin’ off the chill. This Scorpio new moon, it sounds like it just pushes them changes along a bit faster.
They say this Scorpio moon makes you feel things real deep-like. Like when you stub your toe, but ‘stead of just yellin’, you start thinkin’ about all the times you stubbed your toe before, and how much it hurt, and how you gotta be more careful next time. It’s like your heart gets all swole up, full of all sorts of feelings, good and bad.
And talk about sensitive! I ain’t talking about no skin allergy or nothing. This here moon makes folks touchy as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. One minute you’re happy as a clam, the next you’re weepin’ like a willow in a windstorm. It’s like the moon is stirring up all the feelings deep inside you. This here moon, she is one heck of a stirrer.
Some folks, they do special things when this new moon comes around. They call ’em “rituals,” like them fellers in the church, but different, I reckon. Maybe they light candles, or sit real quiet and think, or somethin’. I guess it’s all about payin’ attention to them feelings, lettin’ ’em wash over you like a wave. They say you can even do some sort of fancy “meditation”. Seems like a whole lotta sittin’ still to me, but to each their own, I say.
Strong feelings is what this new moon in Scorpio brings. That’s what I’m gatherin’ anyway. And you know what? Maybe that ain’t such a bad thing. Sometimes you gotta feel them feelings, even the bad ones, to move on. Like pullin’ a splinter out – it hurts like the dickens, but then it feels so much better. This new moon, maybe it’s just the universe’s way of pullin’ out all our splinters.
So, there you have it. My two cents on this new moon in Scorpio thing. Ain’t no fancy words or star charts, just plain ol’ common sense, the way I see it. It’s about changin’, feelin’ deep, and maybe, just maybe, comin’ out stronger on the other side. Just like when you plant a seed in the ground and it grows into somethin’ beautiful. This new moon, it’s just a time for planting new seeds, I reckon.
And remember, y’all, whether the moon is new, full, or hidin’ behind a cloud, life goes on. Just gotta keep puttin’ one foot in front of the other, and trustin’ that everything will be alright in the end. Even if you don’t understand fancy words like “transformation” and all that jazz, and you just keep feeling like a hen with her head pecked off, this here old moon ain’t gonna hurt you none. Life’s a garden. Dig it.
