Okay, so I’ve been feeling a little…off lately. You know, that restless, can’t-quite-put-my-finger-on-it kind of vibe? As an Aries, I’m usually all fire and go-go-go, but recently I’ve been more like a flickering candle. So, I decided to dive into the world of crystals, hoping to find something to reignite my inner spark. I’m a total newbie to this, mind you.
My Crystal Experiment
First, I did some digging. I read a bunch of stuff online, trying to figure out which crystals are supposed to be good for Aries. It’s a bit overwhelming, honestly, all the different stones and their supposed properties!
I finally settled on a few that seemed to resonate with me:
- Carnelian: This one kept popping up. It’s supposed to be all about courage, vitality, and, you know, getting stuff done. Perfect for a stalled Aries.
- Bloodstone: Apparently, this one is good for grounding and boosting energy. I figured it couldn’t hurt to have a bit more stability in my life.
- Red Jasper: This one is said to be nurturing and help with focus. My brain has been all over the place, so I was really hoping this would help.
- Clear Quartz: I added this to my list, I wanted an “amplifier”.
I went to this cute little shop downtown – the kind with incense burning and wind chimes everywhere. It was a bit intimidating at first, but the lady working there was super helpful. I picked out a few tumbled stones of each crystal – nothing fancy, just small ones I could carry around.

Then came the fun part: actually using them! I started carrying the Carnelian and Bloodstone in my pocket. I figured having them close to me throughout the day would, I don’t know, do something. I also put the Red Jasper on my desk, right where I tend to procrastinate the most.
I’ve been doing this for about two weeks now. Honestly, I can’t say I’ve had a massive transformation. It’s not like I suddenly woke up one morning and conquered all my to-dos. But…there’s something. I do feel a little bit more…present. A little less scattered. I’ve been able to tackle a few things I’d been putting off, which is a win in my book.
The biggest difference, I think, is that I’m more mindful. Just the act of carrying these little stones around reminds me to check in with myself. To take a breath. To remember my intentions.
For the Clear Quartz, I put it together with those crystal that I picked.

I’m still very much at the beginning of this crystal journey. I’m not sure if it’s the actual stones doing anything magical, or if it’s just the placebo effect. But honestly, I don’t really care. If it helps, it helps. And right now, I feel like it is. I’m going to keep experimenting and see where it takes me. Maybe I’ll even try meditating with them – who knows!
