Today I wanted to share how I managed to snag some tickets to see Aries Spears live. It was a bit of a scramble, but totally worth it in the end.
So, I first heard about Aries Spears a while back from a buddy who’s into stand-up comedy. He told me, “Dude, you gotta check this guy out, he’s hilarious!” I took his word for it, watched a few clips online, and man, was he right. I was hooked. Then I saw on social media that he was coming to town. I had to go!
Finding the Show
I started by searching online for “Aries Spears tour dates” and “Aries Spears tickets.” It looked like he had a few shows coming up. Then I saw there is a show on December 13th, 2024 nearby. Perfect. I jotted down the dates and checked out a couple of ticket sites.
Comparing Ticket Prices
- Ticketmaster: First, I went to the official Ticketmaster site. They had a bunch of options, from nosebleeds to pretty decent seats. But, the prices were a bit steep. I mean, I wanted to see the guy, but I wasn’t about to break the bank.
- SeatGeek: Next, I checked out SeatGeek. They had some cheaper options, which was great, but I was wary of buying from a reseller. Still, I kept those in mind as a backup.
- Undercover Tourist: I also stumbled upon Undercover Tourist. They had tickets too, and the prices were comparable to Ticketmaster.
After comparing, I was still on the fence. The Ticketmaster tickets were reliable but pricey, while SeatGeek had some deals but felt a bit risky.
The Decision
I thought about it for a bit and decided to go with Ticketmaster. Yeah, it was a bit more expensive, but I figured it was worth it for the peace of mind. I didn’t want to risk getting scammed or ending up with fake tickets.
Buying the Tickets
I went back to the Ticketmaster site, picked out a couple of decent seats in the middle section, and added them to my cart. I double-checked the date – December 13th, 2024 – and the venue. Everything looked good. I entered my payment info, and boom, I had the tickets! They sent me a confirmation email, and I saved it right away.
Getting Ready for the Show
Now that I have the tickets, I’m pumped! I hear his shows usually go for about 90 minutes to two hours, so it’ll be a good night of laughs. I’m planning to get there early to grab some merch and maybe a drink before the show starts.
All in all, it was a bit of a process, but I’m stoked to see Aries Spears live. If you’re a fan of stand-up, I definitely recommend checking him out. Just be prepared to do a bit of digging to find the best ticket deals!
