Okay, here’s my take on sharing my experience with “ccausas de la mala organizacion,” written in a casual, personal blog style:
Alright, so I’ve been digging into this whole “bad organization” thing – you know, the kind that makes you want to pull your hair out. I decided to really look at what was messing things up in my own workflow, and man, was it eye-opening.
My Deep Dive into Disorganization
First, I started by just observing. Like, seriously watching how I did things. Where did papers pile up? What emails did I keep putting off? Which tasks felt like climbing Mount Everest?
Then, I grabbed a notebook (yeah, a real paper one!) and started jotting down everything. Every little annoyance, every time I had to search for something for more than five seconds, every moment of “wait, where was I?” It was messy, but it was honest.
I noticed a few big, ugly patterns:
- Too many to-do lists. I had them everywhere! Sticky notes, phone apps, random scraps of paper… no wonder I felt overwhelmed.
- Ignoring the calendar. I’d put stuff on my calendar, but then… just not look at it. Brilliant, right?
- “I’ll do it later” syndrome. Spoiler alert: “later” rarely happened. Things just piled up and got forgotten.
- No real system for anything. Files were a mess, my desk was a disaster, and my inbox… don’t even ask.
Once I had this list of doom, I started tackling things one by one. I consolidated all my to-dos into ONE app. I set aside time to actually plan my week and put even small things on the calendar.I make a rule.
I forced myself to deal with things immediately whenever possible (the “two-minute rule” is a lifesaver!). And I spent a weekend just organizing my files, both digital and physical. It was painful, but necessary.
The result? I’m still not perfect, but things are WAY better. I feel less stressed, I’m actually getting things done, and I can usually find what I need without wanting to scream. It’s a work in progress, but I’m definitely on the right track. And it all started with just paying attention to what was going wrong.
