Alright, let’s talk about this… what was it? Libra and Taurus tattoo thingy. Yeah, that’s it. My grandson, he’s always got his nose in that phone, talking ’bout stars and signs and whatnot. Says folks get these things, these tattoos, all mixed up together. Like, uh, Libra and Taurus. Don’t ask me, I just plant taters.
So, if you’re thinkin’ ’bout gettin’ one of these here tattoos, with the bull and the scales, I guess you gotta figure out what you want it to look like. My grandson showed me some pictures, all fancy and swirly. Some had a bull, real strong-like, you know? And then these scales, like the ones they use at the market to weigh vegetables, only prettier.
Now, they say Libra is all about balance. Like, keepin’ things even, not too much of this, not too much of that. Taurus, that’s the bull, right? Stubborn as a mule, my husband used to say, God rest his soul. But they also say Taurus folks like nice things, comfy things. Like a good, soft blanket on a cold night.
So, you put them together, Libra and Taurus, and what do you get? I dunno, maybe a stubborn fella who likes things just so? Or maybe someone who wants a comfy life but tries to be fair to everyone. Again, don’t ask me, I just make sure the chickens get fed.
- Taurus and Libra together in a tattoo: Means somethin’ ’bout balance, I guess. And maybe bein’ strong but also fair. Like a judge who ain’t afraid to lay down the law but still listens to both sides.
- Lots of designs: You got your bull, you got your scales. You can put ’em together, make ’em fancy, make ’em simple. My grandson showed me one where the scales were hangin’ off the bull’s horns. Looked kinda silly to me, but he said it was “artistic”.
- Why get one? Well, my grandson says it’s ’cause people feel a connection to these signs. Maybe they’re born under ’em, maybe they just like what they stand for. I still think it’s a bit crazy, but then again, I’m just an old woman.
If you’re lookin’ for ideas, the internet, that thing my grandson’s always on, is full of ’em. Pictures galore. Bulls with wings, scales made of flowers, all sorts of things. Just search for “Libra and Taurus tattoo” and you’ll see what I mean. But be warned, some of them pictures are mighty strange. Folks these days, they’ll tattoo just about anything on themselves.
Now, about that “soulmate” thing my grandson was babbling about. He says some folks believe these signs, Libra and Taurus, can be soulmates even though they are different. Said somethin’ about them being side by side on some “wheel” thingy. Apparently, Taurus likes to do things by themselves and Libra likes to share everything with everyone. Sounds like a recipe for disaster to me, but what do I know? My husband and I, we weren’t no fancy star signs, but we stuck together for 50 years. Just good ol’ fashioned hard work and common sense, that’s what it takes. None of this astrology stuff.
Anyways, if you decide to get this Libra and Taurus tattoo, make sure you go to a good place. You don’t want some scratcher ruining your skin. And think long and hard about what you want. It’s gonna be on you forever, you know? Like that time I got that perm, Lord have mercy, took me a year to grow that mess out.
And another thing, don’t be gettin’ no tattoo just because some fella tells you to. Do it for yourself, if you really want it. And if you don’t, well, that’s just fine too. There’s more important things in life than pictures on your skin, like a good crop of tomatoes or a warm fire on a cold night. But hey, if it makes you happy, go for it. Just don’t come cryin’ to me if it hurts.
