Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this thing called “Divination Distillate” in Path of Exile, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I heard about it from some folks online, talking about how it can be used for farming and stuff. Sounds cool, right?
So, first, I got my hands on one of these flasks. It’s a Large Hybrid Flask, which means it does some stuff with both life and mana. The important part is the name, though, “Divination Distillate”. Don’t ask me why it’s called that, I just roll with it.
Then I started experimenting. I tried using it with a build that uses a ton of mana. I mean, we’re talking about chugging mana potions like they’re going out of style. Some people online were saying you can use a “mana degen” thing, but I just went with a big mana pool and high mana costs for my skills. It seems to be a popular way to do this.
I also tried this thing called “MoM” or Mind Over Matter, but I didn’t really have much mana left after using my skills, so I’m not sure how that’s supposed to work. But some smart folks said that as long as you can keep the flask up as much as possible, it works. Maybe I need to figure out that part, I will keep going.
- I heard some people say that using it with “Petrified Blood” is okay. I tried that too, but it didn’t seem to recover much of my health. I guess it’s more about the other effects of the flask.
- I also read somewhere that you can farm specific “Divination Cards” in certain maps. Like, there’s this “Doctor” card in the “Spider Forest” map, and the “Hoarder” card in the “Vault” map. I even tried doing the “Hall of Grandmasters” for something called “The Immortal”.
- I ran a few “Lair” maps because someone said there’s a card for “Wolven King’s Bite” there. I don’t know what that’s about, but hey, more cards, more fun, right?
My Farming Strategy
So, I’ve been using this flask while running maps, just trying to keep it active as much as possible. I found that it’s actually pretty good for getting more loot. I don’t know the specifics, but it feels like I’m finding more stuff, and some of it is pretty valuable. I even sold some of those Divination Cards I found for a decent amount of currency.
I’m still learning the ropes, but it’s been a fun experiment. It will be very helpful for my farming, I will keep using it. This Divination Distillate thing might just be my new favorite toy in Path of Exile. If you haven’t tried it yet, you should. Just be prepared to use a lot of mana.
