Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with these “Divination Scarab of Plenty” things in the game. The name itself sounds pretty fancy, right? I had to give it a try and see what the fuss was all about.
First off, I needed to get my hands on these scarabs. I’ve heard they mostly show up in the Safehouses of the Immortal Syndicate, specifically in the Intervention department. So, I started grinding those areas, hoping to snag a few. It took a while, but I finally managed to collect a bunch of them.
Once I got them, I started experimenting. I learned that you can use them in your Map Device to spice up your maps. These Divination Scarabs of Plenty, in particular, promise to add extra packs of magic monsters that have a higher chance of dropping divination cards. Sounds good, right?
I slotted one into my Map Device along with a map and fired it up. In the map, I noticed these new magic monster packs – they had this weird purple glow around them. Makes sense, since the description mentioned something about purple flecks.
I plowed through the map, taking down those special packs, and guess what? They did drop divination cards more often than usual! I read somewhere that it’s like an 800% increased chance, I guess I saw this information when I was searching how to play. I don’t know if that’s the exact number, but I definitely noticed a difference. It wasn’t raining divination cards, but I was getting a decent amount, so I could see that these plenty scarabs are useful.
I tried using more than one scarab at a time, but it seems like there’s a limit. You can only use up to three or four of these Plenty Scarabs at once. That’s a bit of a bummer, but I guess it keeps things balanced. I mean this limitation makes things more challenging.
From what I can tell, these scarabs only boost the drop rate of divination cards that would normally drop in that map area. So, you can’t just use them to get any divination card you want. They just make the existing ones drop more frequently. And I also heard about other versions of divination scarabs, such as “Pilfering” and “Curation”.
Here’s a little tip I picked up: If you’re really serious about farming divination cards with these scarabs, you should probably max out your map’s quantity and pack size. It just makes sense to have as many monsters as possible to increase your chances. More monsters, more cards, more fun, maybe.
Overall, I’d say these Divination Scarabs of Plenty are pretty cool if you’re into collecting divination cards. They definitely make the process a bit more rewarding. Just remember to stock up on them, juice up your maps, and get ready to slay some purple-glowing monsters! It’s not a game-changer, but it’s a fun little boost. I spent all day doing it, and I think I will do it again tomorrow.
