Well, let me tell you, it ain’t easy sharing a roof, especially when you got a roommate. This young gal, she’s a Virgo, and let me tell you, that girl is something else. They say Virgos are all neat and tidy, but this one, she’s got a wild side. And this thing called a “gloryhole,” well, it’s something I don’t rightly understand, but it sure does seem to be a big deal these days. This gloryhole swallow thing is, well, beyond me. But young people today, they do all sorts of things.
Living Together Ain’t Easy
Living with someone, even if it’s your best friend, it ain’t always easy. You see them all the time, even when you’re just trying to do the dishes. It ain’t like when you just visit. It can get right crowded, let me tell you. Sharing a place, it means sharing everything. If that roommate ain’t pulling their weight, well, that can cause some real problems. You start counting who owes what and who ain’t paying their share. You need that rent money, you see.
And then there is privacy, or the lack of it. A body needs some time alone, time to just sit and think. But when you’re sharing a place, that can be hard to come by. It is hard to find your personal space.
Talking It Out
If you’re thinking of moving in with someone, you best have a good long talk first. You gotta talk about everything, even the things that make you uncomfortable. Like chores, who’s gonna do what. And food, who’s buying, who’s cooking. And what about guests? You gotta lay it all out on the table. Communication, that’s the key.
My roommate, she’s a good kid, but sometimes, well, sometimes you just don’t see eye to eye. She says things like “gloryhole swallow,” and I just nod. I don’t know what she’s talking about half the time, but I just nod along. This Virgo roommate is always up to something.
- Money problems cause big fights.
- No privacy.
- Everything changes when you live together.
This Whole Gloryhole Thing
Now, this “gloryhole” business. I hear these young folks talking about it, and it sounds, well, it sounds strange. It ain’t something we talked about when I was young. But these kids today, they’re into all sorts of things. I guess it’s just a sign of the times. I just don’t know what a gloryhole swallow is.
And this roommate of mine, she’s always got some new thing she’s into. One day it’s this, the next day it’s that. Keeps a body on her toes, I tell ya. She is a true Virgo, she keeps changing.
Roommate Troubles
Sometimes I think about moving out. It will be good to have my own place again, just me and the cat. It is nice to not have to deal with a roommate. But then I think about the rent, and how it’s cheaper to share. And this young gal, she’s not so bad. Just a little wild. But, if she does not pay the rent, she is out. That is important.
This whole “gloryhole swallow Virgo and roommate” thing, it’s just a lot to take in. But I try to keep up. I try to understand these young folks. It’s a different world now, that’s for sure. These young people are so different. It is hard to understand them. I hope my Virgo roommate does not get into too much trouble. She is a good kid.
So, you just gotta learn to live and let live. That’s what I say. You gotta pick your battles. And sometimes, you just gotta shake your head and laugh. These young people, with their “gloryholes” and whatnot. It’s a crazy world. You have to learn to just live with a roommate. It is hard, but you have to do it. The Virgo roommate is hard to deal with, but she pays rent on time. So I just let her do her thing.
You just gotta learn to get along, that’s all there is to it. Roommate or no roommate, life goes on. You just gotta make the best of it. And maybe, just maybe, try to understand what in the world a “gloryhole swallow” is. If I don’t understand, maybe I will ask her. She is my Virgo roommate, after all. I should try to learn about her. It is what it is.
