Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this rogue trader divination thing, whatever that means. Sounds fancy, don’t it? But it ain’t all that complicated, ya hear?
First off, this rogue trader fella, he’s like a big boss, a commander, ya know? He ain’t doin’ all the dirty work himself. He’s got folks for that. Like, this fella I heard about, he wanted to be a psyker. That’s someone with magic powers, I guess. But he’s too busy bossin’ folks around, so he got an officer to do the psyker stuff. Smart, ain’t he? Save yourself some trouble.
- Don’t go jumpin’ into things headfirst. Get someone else to do it! That’s what I always say.
- If you wanna learn some weird language, like this Necron talk, well, good luck to ya. There’s supposed to be some way to do it in this game, but sounds like a headache to me.
Now, this game, this rogue trader thing, it’s set in some crazy future, the 41st millennium they call it. Everything’s all space ships and lasers and whatnot. And it ain’t easy, I tell ya. You gotta be smart to survive. Gotta use your head, and maybe some of that magic stuff, too. This ‘divination’ part? Maybe that’s the magic stuff. Seein’ the future or somethin’? I ain’t sure. But if it helps ya win, then use it!
There’s all sorts of quests and battles, from what I hear. And you gotta build your character right. Make ’em strong, make ’em smart, make ’em magic, whatever you need. Some folks like that Commissar fella, sounds tough. Others like the priest, maybe he does the blessin’s and keeps ya safe. Me? I’d just take the toughest one and let him do all the fightin’.
And this guide thing I saw, it tells you how to get through the whole game, every quest, every secret. Sounds like a cheat sheet to me! But hey, if you’re stuck, nothin’ wrong with gettin’ a little help. Just don’t tell nobody I told ya. They got walkthroughs and character builds, whatever that means. Sounds like they tell ya how to make your guy the best fighter or the best magic user or whatever you wanna be.
There’s this ice world, with a thousand dreams or somethin’, and you need some kinda fancy augur thing to get by. No idea what that is, but sounds important. Gotta go find it, I guess. That’s how these games always are, sendin’ ya all over creation to find some doo-dad so you can keep goin’.
And then there’s this Cassia girl. She’s a good one to have around. She can shoot straight, and she’s got some magic tricks, too. But the real special thing she does is this “Bring it Down!” thing. Makes your buddy take another turn right away. Now, that’s useful! Always good to have someone who can give ya an extra hand, ya know?
But ya gotta be careful, too. There’s folks out there tryin’ to trick ya. Don’t go doin’ business with just anyone. Make sure they’re on the up-and-up. Check their address, make sure they’re real. Same goes for this rogue trader stuff, I reckon. Don’t go trustin’ everyone you meet. Some of ’em will stab ya in the back soon as look at ya.
This Koronus Expanse, that’s where all this happenin’. It’s a dangerous place, way out in space where nobody’s ever been before. Gotta go through this Koronus Passage to get there, and that ain’t no picnic, I bet. Sounds like a long, hard road, but that’s how it is with these things. Nothin’ ever comes easy, does it?
So, that’s the long and short of it, as far as I can tell. This rogue trader thing is about bein’ a boss, fightin’ battles, usin’ magic, and tryin’ to survive in a tough world. And maybe, just maybe, seein’ the future a little bit with that divination stuff. But don’t go gettin’ too fancy. Keep it simple, keep it smart, and you might just make it through. Just remember what this old woman told ya, and maybe you’ll be alright.
