Okay, so I’ve been messing around with astrology charts lately, specifically looking at sun and moon combinations. Today, I dove into what it means to have a Leo sun and an Aries moon. It sounded fiery, and spoiler alert: it kinda is!
First, I pulled up my own chart. I already knew I was a Leo sun, but I had to double-check my moon sign. Yep, definitely Aries. This made a lot of sense once I started digging into it.
What I Found Out
- Leo Sun: This is all about being confident, loving the spotlight, and having a big, generous heart. Leos are also known for being, well, a bit dramatic sometimes. But hey, it’s all in good fun, right? We just like to express ourselves!
- Aries Moon: This is where things get interesting. Aries is a fire sign, ruled by Mars, the planet of action and passion. It brings a ton of energy, impulsiveness, and a need to be first. It’s like having an internal engine that’s always revving.
Putting it Together: My Experience
So, what does this Leo sun, Aries moon combo actually feel like? Well, for me, it’s like this constant internal push and pull. I crave attention and admiration (that’s the Leo), but I also get bored super easily and need to be doing something exciting (hello, Aries moon).
I jump into projects with tons of enthusiasm, sometimes before I even fully think them through. My emotions are BIG and immediate. When I’m happy, I’m REALLY happy. When I’m mad, watch out! It’s like a firecracker going off, but thankfully, it usually burns out pretty quickly too.

One thing I’ve definitely noticed is that I have a hard time with routine. I need variety and challenge. I get restless easily, both in my work and in my personal life. This can be a good thing – it pushes me to try new things and take risks. But it can also be a bit exhausting, both for me and the people around me!
I tried to be more mindful today of how this combination plays out in my interactions. I noticed myself getting impatient during a long meeting, and I had to consciously tell myself to chill out and listen. Later, I felt that urge to start a brand new project, even though I already have a million things going on. I managed to resist (barely!), reminding myself that sometimes, finishing what you’ve started is more important than chasing the next shiny thing.
It’s definitely a work in progress, understanding how these two fiery energies work together. But it’s also kind of exciting. It’s like having a built-in superpower, as long as I can learn to control it!
