Okay, so yesterday, I tried to make the “Pisces Menu Atlantis” thing. I saw it online, and it looked pretty cool, so I thought, why not?
First, I had to gather all the stuff I needed. I went to the grocery store and bought a bunch of seafood since it’s a Pisces menu. I got some shrimp, some fish fillets – I think they were cod – and some mussels. I also picked up some veggies, like lemons, and herbs, because you gotta have those, right?
Then, I started prepping. I cleaned the shrimp, took out all that gross stuff. It was a bit of work, to be honest, and it took way longer than I thought. Washing all the seafood, chopping the veggies, I did all that.
After that, I started cooking. I decided to grill the fish because that’s how they did it in the picture I saw. I seasoned them with some salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lemon. For the shrimp, I made a simple marinade with garlic and herbs. The mussels, I just steamed them with some white wine and herbs, pretty basic stuff, but they looked tasty.
Cooking Phase
- Grilling the fish: I heated up the grill and put the fish on. It took about 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Marinating and cooking the shrimp: While the fish was grilling, I cooked the shrimp in a pan. They cooked pretty quickly, just a few minutes until they turned pink.
- Steaming the mussels: This was the easiest part. I just threw them in a pot with some wine and let them steam until they opened up.
Once everything was cooked, I started plating. This was the fun part. I tried to make it look like the picture, with the fish in the center and the shrimp and mussels around it. I added some lemon wedges and fresh herbs for garnish. It actually turned out pretty good, not exactly like the picture, but close enough.
Finally, I got to taste it. It was delicious! The fish was perfectly cooked, the shrimp were flavorful, and the mussels were just amazing. The whole “Atlantis” theme was kind of cool, and it felt like a fancy meal.
So, yeah, that was my experience making the Pisces Menu Atlantis. It was a lot of work, especially the cleaning part, but it was worth it. I might do it again sometime, maybe for a special occasion or something. I took some pictures with my phone. Although the pictures are a bit blurry, I’m still quite satisfied with my work.
It’s a fun dish to make if you’re into seafood and stuff. And it looks really impressive, even if I say so myself!
