Well, let me tell ya, this Pisces stone thing, it’s somethin’ else. Folks say it’s got all sorts of powers, but I just see it as a pretty rock, ya know? But they told me to talk about it, so here I go.
First off, they talk about this “am-uh-thist” stone. Sounds fancy, right? It’s purple, like them grapes growin’ on the vine. They say it helps your head, makes you think better. I don’t know about all that, my head’s always been just fine, thank you very much. But if you’re forgettin’ where you put your teeth, maybe it’ll help. This purple stone, they say it’s real strong for them Pisces folks. Heck, I don’t even know what a Pisces is, sounds like some kinda fish disease to me. But if you are one, maybe you need this rock.
Then there’s this other rock, “aqua-marine.” Sounds like somethin’ you’d find at the bottom of the ocean. And I guess that’s kinda what it is, they say it means “water of the sea.” It’s blue, pretty blue, like the sky on a clear day. Folks like to wear it, put it in rings and necklaces and such. Shiny stuff. They say it makes you calm, like lookin’ at the water. Well, I get calm lookin’ at my chickens peckin’ in the yard, but to each their own, I reckon.
These stones, they say they can fix your feelin’s too. You know, when you’re feelin’ all down in the dumps, like your prize-winning pumpkin got squashed. They say these rocks can make you feel better. I just eat a good piece of pie when I’m feelin’ sad, works like a charm. But maybe these rocks work for some folks. Who am I to judge?

- Aquamarine: Blue rock, like the sea, makes you calm, maybe.
Now, they talk about “chakras.” Don’t ask me what that is, sounds like somethin’ you’d catch if you don’t wear your boots in the mud. But they say this purple rock, the am-uh-thist, it opens up your “crown chakra.” Sounds painful, if you ask me. But they say it lets in all this spirit energy, whatever that is. Maybe it’s like openin’ the windows on a hot day, lettin’ the breeze in. I don’t know.
And then there’s this talk about “healing.” Now, I know about healin’. When my grandson scraped his knee, I put some honey on it, and it healed right up. But these rocks, they say they do a different kind of healin’. They heal your insides, your feelin’s. They say them Pisces folks are real good at understandin’ how you feel, and these rocks help ’em do it better. Like I said, I just bake a pie, but maybe that’s just me.
You can buy these rocks all over the place, I hear. Even on somethin’ called “Etsy.” Sounds like a sneeze, doesn’t it? But they say it’s where folks sell all sorts of handmade stuff. You can get necklaces and rings with these rocks in ’em. Shiny and pretty, for sure. But I’d rather spend my money on a good bag of flour, myself.
So, there you have it. All this talk about Pisces stones. Amethyst and aquamarine. Purple and blue. Head healin’ and feelin’ healin’. To me, they’re just rocks, but I guess they mean somethin’ to some folks. Maybe you need one, maybe you don’t. It’s all the same to me.
