Okay, so I’ve been meaning to get into this whole meditation thing, and I heard about these Rudraksha mala beads. They’re supposed to be good for spiritual stuff, so I thought, why not give them a try? I did some digging around and found a bunch of places selling them, but I wanted to make sure I got the real deal.
First, I looked up what to even look for. Turns out, these beads come in different types, like the number of “mukhis” or faces they have. I decided to go for a 5 Mukhi mala – apparently, it’s a good all-rounder. Then I started hunting for a good place to buy them. I found this place called Shiv Kripa Rudraksha Kendra that seemed legit. They had a 5 Mukhi mala with 108+1 beads, which is the standard, I guess. The beads were 20 mm, which seemed like a decent size.
I compared prices a bit. This place seemed to have them at a good price, and they claimed they were original, which was important to me. They also had some other mala products, but I stuck with the basic Rudraksha one for now. I added it to my cart and checked out. Pretty straightforward process.
- Found a place called Shiv Kripa Rudraksha Kendra
- Ordered a 5 Mukhi mala with 108+1 beads (20 mm)
- Checked that they were supposedly original
- Paid a decent price for them
A few days later, the mala arrived. It came with a certificate, which I guess is to prove it’s real. It looked pretty cool, all these brown beads strung together. Now came the actual using part. I’m a total newbie at this, so I had to look up how to use a mala for meditation. Basically, you hold it in your hand and move from one bead to the next with each breath or mantra.
I tried it out a few times. It’s kind of tricky at first, keeping your mind focused and all that. But I have to say, there’s something calming about the feel of the beads. I’m not sure if it’s the spiritual significance or just the act of doing something repetitive, but it does help me relax a bit.
My Thoughts So Far
I’m still very new to this whole thing, so I can’t say for sure if these Rudraksha beads are making a huge difference in my life. But I do enjoy using them. It’s a nice little ritual to add to my day, and it does seem to help me chill out a bit. I guess only time will tell if it really helps with my spiritual journey or whatever, but for now, I’m happy with my purchase. I plan to keep using it and see where it takes me.
