Alright, so I’ve been meaning to share this for a while now, and I finally got around to putting my thoughts together. Today, I wanted to talk about my little experiment with astrological signs. Specifically, the whole sun in Libra, moon in Pisces thing.
It all started a few weeks back when I was talking with my friend, Sarah. She’s really into astrology. I mean, really into it. She kept going on and on about how my personality seemed to fit the traits of a Libra sun and a Pisces moon. I was like, “Sure, whatever you say,” but secretly, I was intrigued.
So, I did what any curious person would do: I started googling. And boy, did I fall down a rabbit hole! I spent hours reading about what it means to have your sun in Libra and your moon in Pisces. There was a lot of stuff about being a balanced and harmonious person (Libra) but also sensitive and intuitive (Pisces). It kinda sounded like me, not gonna lie.
But I didn’t just want to read about it. I wanted to see if I could actually feel these influences in my daily life. So, I started paying more attention to my reactions and how I was feeling in different situations. I even started a journal.
- First week: I focused on the Libra traits. I tried to be extra diplomatic in my interactions with people. For example, there was this disagreement with my neighbor about his tree branches hanging over my fence. Instead of getting upset, I calmly talked to him about it, and we found a solution that worked for both of us. Pretty smooth, right?
- Second week: I tried to tap into my Pisces side. I spent more time doing things that I found relaxing and emotionally fulfilling, like listening to music, doing yoga, and just daydreaming. This was tough, especially as a busy person! But also, it was pretty cool to make that space and just be okay with doing nothing sometimes.
- Third week: I tried to combine both, to make the balanced state I read about. I’m not sure how well I did, but I think I was a little more able to see both sides of a situation while also being in tune with my own feelings about it.
After a few weeks of this, I actually started noticing some changes. I felt a little more balanced, like I could handle stressful situations with a bit more grace. I also felt more connected to my emotions, which was a bit weird at first, but it also felt good to be more in tune with myself.
Did it completely change my life?
No, not really. But it was a fun little experiment, and it did make me more aware of my personality and how I interact with the world. It’s like having a new lens to look through. Plus, now I have something to talk about with Sarah that doesn’t involve her just talking at me about planets and stars. I am still the same old me at the end of the day, but it is a useful tool to do a self-reflection.
So, if you’re curious about astrology, I say give it a try! It might not be a perfect science, but it can be a fun way to explore your own personality. And who knows, you might even learn something new about yourself in the process.
