Alright, let’s talk about this Aquarius animal thing. My neighbor, she’s always talkin’ about stars and signs, you know? Says I’m somethin’ called an Aquarius. Don’t know what that means, but she said it has an animal, like them Chinese years, the rat and the pig and all that.
So, I looked it up, kinda. This here internet thing, it’s a wonder, ain’t it? But it’s also confusing as heck. Anyways, it seems Aquarius ain’t got no regular animal like a dog or a cat. It’s somethin’ called a Water Bearer. Now, what in tarnation is a Water Bearer? Sounds like someone carryin’ water from the well, which I done plenty in my days, let me tell ya.
- But this ain’t about me carryin’ water.
- This is about this Aquarius thing.
Seems like this Water Bearer ain’t no real animal, but more like a symbol. Like them pictures in the church windows, you know? They mean somethin’, but they ain’t real people. This Water Bearer, it’s pourin’ out water, which I guess means… well, I don’t rightly know what it means. Somethin’ about flowin’ and changin’, maybe? Like the river down by the old mill, always movin’, never the same.
But then, some folks say Aquarius is like a dolphin. Now, dolphins, them I understand. Smart critters, always swimmin’ and playin’. My grandson, he showed me a picture once, dolphins jumpin’ outta the water, all happy-like. Maybe that’s what an Aquarius is like on the inside, even if they don’t show it. The internet says dolphins are smart and bring good luck, so maybe that’s good for us Aquarius folks.
This whole thing is kinda like my garden, ya know? You plant seeds, you water ’em, and then they grow. But you never really know what you’re gonna get. Some plants grow tall and strong, some are small and weak. Just like people, I guess. Some show their feelin’s, some keep ’em hidden. The internet says Aquarius people don’t show their feelin’s much, but that don’t mean they ain’t got ’em. Lord knows, I’ve had my share of feelin’s, even if I don’t go shoutin’ them from the rooftops.
And this talk about communities and friends? That makes sense. Even us old folks, we need our neighbors. We help each other out, share what we got. That’s how it’s always been. Maybe that’s what this Aquarius thing is about too, helpin’ others and workin’ together. Like when we had that big storm last year, everyone came out to help clear the roads and fix the roofs. That’s what bein’ part of somethin’ bigger is all about.
Aquarius folks, they say, are kinda unpredictable. Well, ain’t we all? One day you’re feelin’ fine, the next day your back’s achin’ somethin’ fierce. That’s life, ain’t it? Always changin’, always somethin’ new. This internet thing, it says Aquarius people like to think different, do things their own way. Well, I reckon that’s alright. World needs all kinds, don’t it?
So, this Aquarius animal thing, it ain’t so simple, is it? It’s not just a pig or a dog or a dolphin. It’s about somethin’ deeper, somethin’ inside. It’s about flowin’ like water, bein’ smart like a dolphin, helpin’ your neighbors, and bein’ yourself, even if you’re a little bit unpredictable. And that, I reckon, ain’t such a bad thing to be.
Aquarius people, they got their secrets, just like everyone else. But maybe that’s what makes ’em special. Like a hidden spring in the woods, you gotta look a little harder to find it, but when you do, it’s cool and clear and full of life. That’s my take on it, anyways. Just an old woman’s thoughts, nothin’ fancy.
It ain’t easy understandin’ all this star talk, but if it helps folks understand themselves a little better, then I guess it’s alright. Just remember, whether you’re a Water Bearer or a dolphin or just a plain ol’ person, it’s what’s inside that counts. Be kind, be helpful, and be yourself.
