Said some ways were “natural,” like when someone just blurts out a prophecy, and some were “artistic,” like when you gotta do somethin’ special, like lookin’ at a paintin’ or somethin’. He even talked about folks goin’ into a trance, gettin’ all theatrical. Sounds like them preachers down at the revival meetin’, if you ask me.
Then there’s all these fancy words endin’ in “-mancy.” Seems like everythin’ can be used for divination these days. They got words for readin’ palms, readin’ tea leaves, lookin’ at the stars, you name it. All just different ways of tryin’ to get a peek at what’s comin’, I guess.
