Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into astrology lately, and I wanted to figure out what this whole “Venus in Aquarius” thing means. I’ve heard it tossed around, but I didn’t really get it. So, I decided to do a little experiment on myself and see if I could see these traits playing out in my own life.
First, I grabbed my birth chart. I used one of those free online calculators – you just plug in your birth date, time, and place, and it spits out this crazy-looking wheel. I found Venus, and sure enough, it was sitting pretty in Aquarius.
My Little Experiment
Next, I started digging around for info on what Venus in Aquarius actually means. I checked out a bunch of websites, and forums. I read some of the contents I searched for, but mostly, I was just trying to get a general feel for it.
What I gathered was that it’s all about being independent, a little quirky, and valuing friendships super highly. Romantic relationships might take a backseat to intellectual connections, and there’s a big need for freedom and space. It’s, like, the opposite of clingy.
So, I started thinking about my own life. I always had trouble with the label and was very resistant to traditional romantic relationship. Do I really crave that much independence? I definitely do, but it is because I love freedom so much, or I just afraid of getting hurt by being too clingy? So I started asking myself some questions, to find out the answer.
- Do I prioritize my friendships? Yep, 100%.
- Do I need a lot of alone time? Absolutely. My battery drains fast in social situations.
- Am I drawn to unconventional people or ideas? Totally. I love anything that’s a little “out there.”
- Do I resist to traditional romantic ways? I finally found the truth.
I realized that yeah, a lot of this stuff did resonate with me. I am that girl. It wasn’t like a perfect, crystal-clear picture, but it was enough to make me think, “Okay, there might be something to this astrology thing after all.” This “Venus in Aquarius” thing really is a part of me. It’s not the whole story, of course, but it’s definitely a piece of the puzzle. I am gonna do a lot more digging in other areas of my birth chart and make a record of them.
