Well, howdy there, y’all! Let’s talk about this… this “capricorn cool art” thing, whatever that is. Sounds fancy, but lemme tell ya, ain’t nothin’ too fancy for us plain folks to understand.
So, what’s this Capricorn stuff all about? I ain’t no astrologer, mind you, but I hear it’s one of them signs in the sky. Like, when you was born, the stars was lined up a certain way, and that makes you a Capricorn, or somethin’ else. They say Capricorns are down-to-earth folks, real practical and hardworking. Kinda like me, always busy in the garden or the kitchen.
Now, when we talk about Capricorn art, I reckon we ain’t just talkin’ about drawin’ goats, which is what them Capricorn folks are supposed to be like – goats with fish tails or some such nonsense. It’s more about the feel of it, ya know? Somethin’ solid, somethin’ real. Not like them fancy pictures where you can’t tell which way is up.
- Gettin’ Your Hands Dirty: If you wanna make some Capricorn art, you gotta get your hands dirty, I say. Don’t be afraid to try things, even if you mess up. Like makin’ mud pies when you was a kid. Remember that? Just let your feelin’s guide ya. Don’t overthink it.
- Keepin’ It Real: Them Capricorns, they like things real. So, your art should be real too. Paint what you see, draw what you know. Like, if you see a purdy flower, paint that flower. If you see an ol’ barn, draw that barn. Don’t go paintin’ no purple elephants unless you actually seen a purple elephant, and I bet you ain’t.
- Strong and Steady: Capricorns are strong and steady, like a good ol’ oak tree. So, your art should have that feel too. Use strong lines, bold colors. Don’t be wishy-washy. Make a statement! Show ’em what you’re made of. Just like when I’m plantin’ potatoes, I dig deep and make sure them roots are strong. That’s how you get a good harvest, and that’s how you make good art.
Now, some folks say you gotta “unleash your inner artist.” Sounds like somethin’ you’d do with a wild dog, but I guess it means you gotta let your feelin’s out. Don’t be holdin’ back. If you wanna paint a sad picture, paint a sad picture. If you wanna paint a happy picture, paint a happy picture. It’s like when you’re makin’ a quilt, every piece has its place, every stitch has its purpose.
And don’t listen to that little voice in your head tellin’ you you ain’t good enough. Everybody’s got that voice, always naggin’ and complainin’. Tell it to shut its yap and get outta your way! Just like when the chickens get too loud, I shoo them away. You gotta shoo away them doubts too. You got somethin’ to say, say it with your art.
Thinkin’ ’bout old-timey art and new-fangled stuff: I seen some pictures, old ones, lookin’ like them Roman statues in the history books at the schoolhouse. Real serious-lookin’ folks. That could be Capricorn art, I guess. Strong and steady, like I said. But then you got them new pictures, all shapes and colors and whatnot. Geometric, they call it. Like them fancy quilts my granddaughter makes. That can be Capricorn art too, long as it’s got that solid feelin’ to it.
So, whether you’re paintin’ or drawin’ or makin’ statues out of mud, just remember to keep it real, keep it strong, and don’t let nobody tell you you can’t do it. And if they do, just tell ’em ol’ Granny said so!
And get this: They even makin’ tattoo art now with this Capricorn thing. Lord have mercy. Tattoos used to be for sailors and bikers, now everybody wants one. But I guess if you gonna get a tattoo, might as well make it a Capricorn one, right? Somethin’ that shows you’re strong and steady, like that ol’ oak tree.
Now, go on out there and make some art! Don’t worry if it ain’t perfect. Ain’t nothin’ in this world perfect, ‘cept maybe a good apple pie. And even then, sometimes the crust gets a little burnt. But that don’t mean it ain’t good eating. Just like your art, it don’t gotta be perfect to be beautiful.
In the end: It ain’t about bein’ fancy, it’s about bein’ real. It ain’t about bein’ perfect, it’s about bein’ you. And that, my friends, is what Capricorn cool art is all about, if you ask me.
