Okay, so I wanted to figure out what the deal was with Sagittarius’s birth flower. I’m a Sagittarius, and I thought it would be fun to dig into this.
First, I started looking around for what people generally thought was the main flower for us Sagittarians. Turns out, it’s carnations! Yeah, those flowers you see all the time. I found out they come in a bunch of colors like red, orange, pink, yellow, and even purple. I gotta say, I was a bit surprised. I guess I didn’t really connect carnations with any specific zodiac sign.
Then I started digging into what these carnations actually mean. Apparently, they’re all about longevity. They don’t dry up or wither quickly, you know, they hang in there. Makes sense for Sagittarius, since we’re known for being adventurous and full of life. Also, they symbolize love and passion, I guess these all kind of related to longevity, right? Anyway, I thought that was pretty cool.
I also read that another flower associated with Sagittarius is something called Gladiolus. Never heard of it before, but when I looked it up, it’s this tall, kind of spiky flower. I guess some people consider it a Sagittarius flower too, but carnations definitely seem to be the main one.
After all this searching, I decided to get some carnations. I went to a local flower shop and picked out a mixed bunch with some of those colors I found out about. They actually looked pretty nice in a vase on my table. I tried to keep them alive as long as I could, and you know what? They really did last a while!
So, that’s my little adventure into the world of Sagittarius birth flowers. I’m not sure I’ll be buying carnations all the time now, but it was definitely interesting to learn more about it. Maybe I’ll look into these Gladiolus things more next. Who knows!
