So, the other day, I was thinking about this whole “spirit animal” thing, you know? And since I’m a Virgo, I got curious about what my spirit animal would be. I mean, we Virgos are known for being all practical and detail-oriented, but there’s gotta be more to us than just that, right?
First, I hit up the internet, just to see what the general consensus was. I found some articles talking about orangutans and vultures, which was kind of surprising. Orangutans are smart and like to be alone, which I guess kind of fits. Vultures, though? I wasn’t so sure about that one. They are some traits match, I guess.
Then I found another animal – beavers. Beavers are all about hard work and getting things done, which definitely resonated with me. I do like to stay busy and productive.
But it felt like something was missing. So I decided to do some more digging. I read about owls and foxes being connected to Virgos, too. Owls are wise, and foxes are adaptable, and those are qualities I admire. I’ve always been the type to think things through and try to find solutions, so maybe there’s some owl in me after all.
Some Self-Reflection
It wasn’t just about reading what other people said, though. I wanted to figure out what really connected with me on a personal level. So I started doing some self-reflection, you know, just thinking about my own personality and what animals I’ve always felt drawn to. And I started journaling about it, just to get my thoughts down on paper.
- What are my strengths?
- What are my weaknesses?
- What kind of environments do I thrive in?
- What are my goals and aspirations?
I even tried meditating a few times, just to see if anything came to me in those quiet moments. It was kind of weird at first, but it actually helped me clear my head and focus on what I was looking for.
After all that, I still don’t have a definitive answer. But you know what? I think that’s okay. Maybe it’s not about finding one specific animal, but more about recognizing the different animal qualities within myself. Maybe I’m a little bit of an orangutan, a little bit of a beaver, and a little bit of an owl. And maybe that’s what makes me uniquely me. It’s a journey, not a destination, right?
It’s been a fun process, though. It’s made me think more about who I am and what I value. And it’s kind of cool to think that there are all these different animal energies out there that we can connect with. If you’re a Virgo, or any other sign for that matter, I’d recommend giving it a try. You might be surprised at what you discover about yourself.
