Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post about “american constellation”, written in the style of a mature, practical blogger, using simple language and focusing on the process:
So, I got this idea to make something cool with the “American Constellation” theme. I wasn’t exactly sure what at first, but I knew I wanted to play around with it.
Getting Started
First thing I did was just look at a bunch of pictures. You know, just to get a feel for it. I went online and searched for images of, like, star charts and maps of the USA. I wanted to see how other people had combined those two things before.
After I looked at some pictures, I decided I wanted to make a kind of “star map” but with states instead of stars.

My Process
- Gathering Supplies: I grabbed a big piece of cardboard , some paint markers (red, white, and blue, of course), and a pencil.
I thought about printing some templates, I decided to freehand it.
- Sketching it Out: I lightly sketched out the outline of the United States. It didn’t have to be perfect, just a general shape.
- Painting the States: I picked a few states, and randomly painted them with a different color and a different size.
The Final Result
I made my own “American Constellation”. The states were represented by color points of different colors and sizes. I painted them randomly on a large piece of cardboard.
It was a fun little project.

It wasn’t perfect, but I enjoyed.
