Alright, let’s talk about this here Path of Exile thing, you know, the maps and them cards. People keep askin’, “What map is best for them div-in-a-whatsit cards?” Well, hold your horses, ’cause it ain’t that simple.
First off, what are these cards anyway? Think of ’em like little coupons. You collect enough, you get a prize. Some prizes are good, some are, well, not so good. Like that time I got a whole box of them stale cookies at the store, thought I was gettin’ a deal, ended up feedin’ ’em to the chickens.
Now, the maps. That’s where you go to find these cards. Some maps are better than others, see? It’s like fishin’. You don’t go fishin’ in a puddle, do ya? You go where the fish are. Same with these cards. You gotta go to the right map.
- Shipyard, Port, and Wharf maps: Folks say these are good for some cards. Sounds like water places to me. Maybe they got them fish cards there, ha!
- Beach, Toxic Sewer, City Square or Jungle Valley maps: Heard these are good too. Seems like a whole mix of places. Beaches, sewers, cities, jungles… sounds like a mess to me. But hey, if it gets you them cards.
- Strand maps: Some folks like these too. Probably long and skinny, like a piece of yarn. Maybe easy to walk through, I don’t know.
But here’s the thing, it ain’t always about the map. It’s about luck too. You can go to the “best” map and get nothin’. And then you can go to some other map, just wanderin’ around like a lost calf, and bam! You find a good card. It’s like that lottery they sell at the corner store. Sometimes you win, sometimes you don’t.
Now, I ain’t no fancy gamer, I just know what I hear and what makes sense. You want them good cards, you gotta put in the time. Gotta run them maps, gotta kill them monsters, gotta open them boxes. It’s like workin’ in the fields. You don’t get no crops if you just sit on the porch swing all day, sippin’ lemonade.
Some folks, they go on and on about the “best” map for this card or that card. They got spreadsheets and calculations and all that fancy stuff. Me? I just go where I feel like goin’. If it feels lucky, I go. If it don’t, I move on. Trust your gut, that’s what I say. Your gut knows more than them fancy computers sometimes.
And don’t forget, them cards, they ain’t everything. Sure, they can get you some nice stuff, but it’s the journey that matters, right? Like when I used to walk to town to sell my eggs. It wasn’t just about the money, it was about the walk, seein’ the neighbors, hearin’ the birds sing. So, enjoy the game. Don’t get all stressed out about them cards. They’ll come when they come.
So, if you askin’ me for the “best” map? I ain’t got a straight answer for ya. But I told you what I know, what I heard. Try them different maps, see what works for you. And remember, luck plays a big part. So say a little prayer, rub a lucky penny, whatever you gotta do. And who knows, maybe you’ll find that special card you been lookin’ for.
And one more thing, don’t go spendin’ all your time chasin’ after them cards. Go outside, get some fresh air, talk to your neighbors. Life ain’t all about them games, you know. It’s about livin’. But if you gonna play, play smart and have fun. That’s all that matters in the end. Now get on out there and find them cards, or don’t. Makes no difference to me.
Remember, these cards come from monsters and loot boxes. So you need to kill things and open things. Simple as that. Some cards are rare, some are common. Just like life, I reckon. You get what you get.
So, that’s my two cents on them div-in-a-whatever cards and maps. Hope it helps ya, hope it don’t. Either way, I’m gonna go make myself some tea. This talkin’s made me thirsty.
